Signs Received From Loved One In Spirit – A Love Song Sent At Right Time

Today I want to share what I have always thought was a very emotional sign that I received from my husband.

On the day I will tell you about, the loss of my husband was still new and raw. I had my earpods in, listening to a playlist of celtic bellydance music as I walked up to visit the tree that we had had the parks department plant in his honor. Three years earlier, they had also planted a tree in my son’s honor, so I always visited this tree as well. Today I was especially emotional as I turned around to head back to my car. I just looked up and whispered to my husband, “please send me a sign… please let me know you are ok and not in pain anymore”. Then I stumbled through the tall grasses back to the sidewalk to head home.

Suddenly the music changed to a rock and roll song. WHAT I am thinking is happening to my playlist. I was about ready to take the phone out of my pocket and find a new playlist, when the chorus of the song started playing.

The song playing was "Faithfully" by Journey. No where on my channel did I have this or any other song by Journey requested, heard or listened to by me. But, when I listened to the words, it was as if this song had been written by my husband to me. It spoke of our past, as we had both been traveling construction workers when we had decided to become parents. It spoke to years of him being a musician in a local rock and roll band. But, mostly the words just struck me right in the heart. And I knew that this was the sign he was giving me. I am including the words in the description of the video and also on my blog.

I listened to that song every night before sleep. And this habit literally made life easier to get through. Because, I knew, I just knew, that even though he did not write or sing them to me in life, he was sending them to me now. And that made all the difference to me.

Don’t discount or let these signs bounce off of you because they are not “proof” or explainable. Instead, just accept them with the love and joy that was intended for you by your loved one.
