Do A Quick Physical/Mental Health Assessment After Recent Loss Of A Loved One

When To Get Medical Attention After Immediate Loss Of A Loved One:
Let’s Start With A Quick Assessment:
#1 Are you in crisis & need help right away?
If so - call 988(USA) RIGHT NOW.
Or click https://988lifeline.org/
#2 Do you have existing physical or mental health issues that feel worse because of your grief?
#3 Do you have unfamiliar physical or mental health issues since this loss?
If You Answered Yes To #2 or #3 – Seek Medical Help Immediately.
Remember those things I wish I had done and didn’t do immediately? Yes, I referred to these first 3 action steps.
Fortunately, I have a sister who is a medical professional and she would not take NO or maybe, or maybe later, as an answer. She nagged me until I did go to both a physical and mental health care professional. They checked me out, assured me that what I was thinking and feeling were part of the process and gave me sound advice that I still follow today.
Next time we will start talking about those 1st level self care tips!
I will add to this Step 1: Surviving Loss Playlist every 6th week on Wednesday afternoons. If you don’t want to wait the 5 weeks for the next one, please visit my website to get them immediately. I will include the link to in the 2nd comment of this post.
In the meantime, please check into the other 3 playlists that discuss how to Rebuild Your Inner Life After Loss. We added a new playlist that shares some of the signs that I have received from my Loved Ones In Spirit. I encourage you to share yours by commenting, or by being interviewed on my website blog, which I can then post there and/or in the YouTube and/or Spotify channels.
No matter what, stay alert, because you will soon learn the amazing ways that your Loved Ones are trying to connect with you!
If you got something out of this recording, please comment, like, share and subscribe for free so that I can help others make connections with their Loved Ones In Spirit. Thank you in advance.
